“Think about it, most people tend to stay away from any type of challenge or change. However, they must understand that until you go beyond your limit, you will notice that there’s some element of confidence behind fear,” says Josh Peace. Changes and growth have the ability to make viable and learn new concepts. We fear change because we think we aren’t good enough for bigger things. We fear it because the fear of failure is also involved. This is why we don’t take the step to venture out. “But, what about if we took a moment to realize how irrational our fears are? Once you’re able to push passed the comfort zone, think about the endless possibilities?” notes Josh Peace. Of course, this step doesn’t happen overnight it takes days and sometimes years to push past changes. It takes a lot for individuals to be able to set their mind up for this type of action.

 

We don’t appreciate discomfort. If we were to really understand how amazing it is to go beyond, this is where our greatest potential and growth will derive from. “It’s the factor of discomfort that we will find our way into growth. There are 3 mindsets that I believe individuals can try out to see if you’re able to push past your fears and go beyond the comfort zone. Not only will this help you learn about yourself, but we are sure you will grow in many aspects personally and professionally,” mentions Josh Peace.

 

Challenge & Try New Things

 

Yes, you might have certain ways of doing things. Your morning might consist of the same transportation, and your breakfast might be the same type of coffee. Just because you do these things doesn’t mean they are wrong, but what about if you tried something new? Maybe try a new route to work out of pure curiosity or tried a new type of beverage for your own personal satisfaction. By experimenting and challenging what you know and like, you’ve already started to learn more about yourself and have done some innovating or creative to grow.

 

Trust Realistic Concepts

 

One way to defeat fear is by being realistic. You must tell yourself that even if that new road you took to work wasn’t proficient, tomorrow you’ll try better because that’s how you challenge fear. Every day consists of new opportunities. “For example, the past is in the past; people make mistakes, negativity is bad for health, the sun will come up tomorrow. These are things that should help you understand that even if you get out of your zone to try something new and didn’t like, it’s not the end of the world,” says Josh Peace.

 

Question Everything

 

Always ask questions and be curious. By being a curious individual, you are learning and growing. You will better your knowledge and develop critical thinking skills. “What can I do better to make sure I get more progress? “What should I do today that’s different than yesterday? Questioning helps you grow more than you can ever imagine. This is what will help your mindset change and make yourself stronger as well,” says Josh Peace.
